After 3 successful editions in Lagos and Kigali, with over 300 attendees from five African countries, Hackapath took its signature B2B matchmaking initiative, The Bouquet Experience, to Dakar, Senegal.
Rooted in our distinctive approach to facilitating business growth through strategic collaboration, The Bouquet Experience creates an intimate space to connect founders and businesses across Africa, share knowledge on building sustainable businesses in Africa’s evolving markets, and tackle pressing business challenges.
Over two immersive days in Dakar, we brought together founders, entrepreneurs, and business leaders for strategy sessions with industry experts and tailored one-on-one matchmaking with other businesses. Through this curated approach, participants experience high-impact outcomes that speak to what’s possible when the right people meet with the right support.

“The personalized nature of our B2B matchmaking process made it easy to solve people’s partnership blockers in real time,” said Nenye Patrick Kalu, founder of Hackapath.
“We worked with Mame Diarra, Calebasse Africa’s founder, to resolve packaging challenges and partnership blockers. She was also introduced to a potential off-taker by the end of the event. Issoufou Mahamadou, founder of Aqualin Sans, a water purification startup, was matched with new customers who didn’t know a company was already solving their water problem in Senegal.
We also worked with Mohammed Tounkura, founder of a travel app that connects tourists and activity providers, to review his expansion strategy and uncover opportunities in the Senegalese market. These stories are at the heart of the gap we’re solving with The Bouquet Experience. We’re showing businesses in Africa how they can scale through strategic collaboration.”

The event also featured expert-led consultations on branding, positioning, and strategies for market expansion across Africa. In addition to honest peer-to-peer feedback, participants gained insight to sharpen and rethink their business strategies and uncover growth opportunities.
“By far, this is the richest conversation I’ve ever had about my business. I’ve been in this business for one year and everything I needed she told me in three minutes,” says Mouhammed Toukoura on the strategy sessions.
“I thought that talking to the experts here was very, very useful in terms of giving me ideas, giving me a potential vision about how to model it and how the journey could be,” adds Alex Iguana, an attendee. “That will be very helpful in terms of leadership for people who want to be entrepreneurs or work in youth development, education, and communication.”
And of course, no Hackapath experience is complete without meaningful connection outside the boardroom. The event closed with a curated culinary experience and tour of the city, grounding the business conversations in the richness of Senegal’s heritage.

As Africa’s economies grow more interconnected, The Bouquet Experience offers more than networking. It fosters a culture of collaboration where partnerships are key to building more legacy businesses in Africa. It’s a timely and necessary platform in today’s business landscape, particularly for entrepreneurs seeking scalable, sustainable growth.
